If you do not want to ship your bulk, you can bring it into our store within the hours of operation. Depending on the size of your trade-in, we may not be able to process it on the spot, so please email us at store@thegamecapital.com to set up an appointment or to make sure that we can accommodate you.
Please have your English and Japanese bulk separated from each other. They may be shipped in the same package, but they must be kept separate. Any trade-in where the English and Japanese bulk is mixed will have 50% of the overall value deducted from the trade-in total.
If you send bulk that does not meet the requirements below, it will be returned to you at your expense.
Bulk is considered to be any Pokémon card that is:
1. Near mint and odor free.
2. Pokemon, Trainer, AND Energy.
3. Not counterfeit.
4. Not a World Championship card.
5. Not sorted alphabetically, by set, type, color, or edition.
- Please sort by rarity as how it is laid out in the Bulk Card Rates
- ex: Common/Uncommon vs. Rare vs. Illustration Rare
- If it is not sorted by rarity, it will be processed as the lowest found rarity.
- It is in your best interest to sort them out to maximize your value!
- We would like the bulk to be random, similar to how the cards would come out of a booster pack.
6. Not a code card or VSTAR marker.
7. From any set except for Prize Series packs as long as it meets the requirements above.
- As a store that runs officially sanctioned Pokémon events, we are not allowed to buy or sell cards from Prize Packs in any capacity, so we cannot take these cards for trade-ins, even if included in bulk.
- Bulk cards may also not be promotional cards given to us directly by Pokémon as marketing assets.
- This includes but is not limited to: Illustration Contest promos, Pokémon Day promos, League Promos, and STAFF promos.

In addition to the above requirements, do not sleeve any bulk cards that are being traded in for $1.25 or less.
- This adds labor and time on our end as we have to unsleeve all of the cards before processing the order.
- If your cards are sleeved when they arrive, any rarity Holo Rare and lower will be processed at a rate of $0.005/card.
- Any higher rarity card (valued at $0.10–$1.25) left in sleeves will have 50% of the total value subtracted from the total.
- Feel free to keep any cards of higher rarities (Master Ball Holos, Rainbow Rare VMAX, etc.) in their sleeves before sending.
Payouts for mailed trade-ins are for store credit only.
- Store credit is provided in the form of an e-gift card that can only be used on our website: the-game-capital.com
- You may send us an email at store@thegamecapital.com to request a payout via PayPal (Goods & Services only) or a mailed check.
- This must be confirmed before the trade-in is sent.
- All cash payouts are at 75% of the store credit rate.
The Game Capital has the right to refuse any trade-in for any reason. Once we process your trade-in, it is final. If you are not comfortable with these rules or with the values listed above, please do not submit your trade-in. By filling out this form and sending us your bulk, you are agreeing to the above terms and conditions.
