Leadership St. Luke's 2018 Application

Leadership St. Luke's starts Friday night on January 5, 2018 from 7 pm to 9 pm and continues with 5 Saturday sessions from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Note: a light lunch will be served at each Saturday Session.

* In addition to these class sessions, there will be two supplemental activities which all participants are strongly encouraged to attend: a January or February vestry meeting and a stained glass window tour by Bobby Mays.

OBJECTIVE: Inform, Educate, Motivate, and Inspire St. Luke's parishioners for:
- A richer experience within the community of faith
- A long-term engagement in the life and work of St. Luke's
- A deeper involvement in church leadership

Leadership St. Luke's offers a forum where parishioners who have expressed interest in or who desire a richer experience within the parish to learn, grow, and connect with each other, to discern an individual path to action for long-term engagement in the life and work of St. Luke's.

Leadership St. Luke's seeks a diverse group of interested and motivated participants. With the privilege of participation comes a responsibility to take seriously the learnings from the program, and convert them to action. Action depends upon where you find your calling to engage, whether inside or outside St. Luke's. (Note: Leadership St. Luke's is not meant to be a training program for future vestry members.)

Please complete this Participant Information and Commitment Application and forward a photograph to Mark Simmons (Mark@StLukesAtlanta.org) by Wednesday, November 22nd to be considered. Selection notifications will begin the week of December 4th.

The Leadership St. Luke's series requires a significant commitment of time and energy. Participation involves 5 Saturday morning sessions starting in January, from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm. Additionally, there are a few outside activities pertaining to the program that you will be strongly encouraged to participate in or attend. These outside activities include attending a January or February vestry meeting and participating in one of Bobby Mays' stained glass window tours.
Do your professional and personal obligations enable you to commit to full participation in the Leadership St. Luke's program? It is expected, as a participant, that you would commit to attend all the sessions. Have you reviewed the Program Calendar?
