Tributaries exhibitions are currently held in the Metal Museum's Keeler Gallery, approximately a 450 square foot space. The exhibitions typically run for 10 to 12 weeks, but may vary depending on the overall Museum exhibition schedule for the year.
Requirements:1) Primary material of artwork to be exhibited must be metal. Mixed media and non-metal works may be considered in relation to the full body of work, on a case by case basis.2) Artwork may not exceed 72" in any direction.3) Artwork may not exceed 500 lbs.4) Artwork must have been made within the last 5 years. 5) Artists wishing to make a new body of work for the exhibition should submit images of previous work that adequately demonstrate technique and style, as well as sketches or models of proposed work.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Artists will only be notified if selected for an exhibition. The exhibition schedule is set 12-18 months in advance, so artists selected can expect to have shows a year to two years from the time of the selection. The Metal Museum will keep applications on file for up to 5 years.
