2021 CSA Fair Farmer Registration
The Appalachian RC&D Council will be hosting the 6th Annual CSA Fair series serving farmers and customers in Northeast Tennessee. This series is open to farms offering Community Supported Agriculture Shares, and direct to consumer delivery options. This event is not part of any farmers market and isn't intended to act as a traditional farmers market. The goal is to connect with new and returning CSA customers, helping you plan out your growing season.

Past CSA Fairs have been very beneficial to participating farmers. Each fair usually attracts between 50-150 people. We can't predict the turnout this year since COVID-19 will likely still be having an impact, but we will be following CDC guidelines, to ensure the health of ourselves, our farmers, and our visitors. Properly worn masks will be required of all attendees, and hand sanitizer will be available.

Because the number of farms offering CSAs and delivery options has grown in response to the pandemic, we are offering to support an additional event in Greeneville this year. We would need a minimum of three farms serving Greeneville, and would need a farm volunteer to take customer count and gather emails.

There are now an estimated 13-15 farms offering some form of farm share or delivery option across Northeast Tennessee. We would like to ensure we have enough space for social distancing. Space at these events will be limited. Once we have the number of events finalized, we will send you a link to pay online.

February 20, 2021 – Kingsport, TN (limit 15), 10am-1pm
March 6, 2021 – Johnson City (limit 12), 10am-1pm
March 13, 2021 – Greeneville (pending enough interest)

Cost for one event: $15
Each additional event: $10

We also support farmers and producers through our Farms to Folks page. This free, online resource supports farmers offering direct to consumer sales through CSAs, delivery options, and on-farm pickups. All CSA Fair participants will be added to this page.
