Education Coordinator Application
The Education Coordinator’s most important duty is to ensure that our grassroots student leaders have the resources that they need in order to educate their campuses about STAND’s conflicts of concern. Day-to-day, you’ll work with a team of conflict specialists to compile our famous Education Updates; work with the Communications Team to create and update informational one-pagers, PowerPoints, webinars, and other resources requested by our members; and help ensure that our policy asks reflect an informed, nuanced understanding of our conflicts of concern. On a strategic level, you’ll work with our Policy Coordinator on fine-tuning and managing STAND’s conflict selection methodology, and ensuring that we’re devoting organizational resources to the most pertinent mass atrocity situations of the day. You’ll manage a team of student conflict analysts who will help you knock it out of the park!

* Note: MC Members should expect to spend an average of 10 hours per week in their role, and all MC members are expected to attend two (expenses-paid) retreats in Washington, DC in summer 2017 and winter 2018 for training, bonding, and campaign planning! Applicants should be prepared to attend weekly MC Calls and weekly Programmatic or Outreach Calls, based on position. *

Applications are due on Friday, March 31 at 11:59 PM. Please direct any questions to info@standnow.org.
