Flatlanders
Flatlanders includes fun games and drills introduce skiing, jumping, moguls and terrain parks to all levels of Freestyle skiers. Developmentally appropriate activities are based on HIGH FIVE™ Principles to support the social, emotional and physical development of children in easy to follow formats. Athletes will be introduced to athletic practices including warm-up, stretching develop flexibility and prevent injury, strength and endurance, agility, acrobatic literacy, cool down, hydration, nutrition, recovery, relaxation and focus. Flatlanders focuses on fun interactive training exposing them to Slopestyle, Moguls, and Aerials with emphasis on strong turning and take-off fundamentals. Skiers involved in the Flatlanders program must be able to load and ride the chairlift unassisted, and must be able to ski in control with linked turns on a green run. There will also be opportunity to participate in club competitions at other ski areas.

Those registering in Flatlanders must be 6 years of age or older.

Lessons: Sundays 10:00 - 3:00 (unsupervised lunch break from approx 12 - 1 pm)
Cost: $300.00 (December 2022 - March 2023 - 8 lessons)

Program fees do not include CFSA membership, lift tickets, equipment, mountain training or competition costs.

Prairie Stylerz
The Competitive/Developmental Program is for the skier who wants to hone their skills at moguls, jumps, park and the "all mountain" area with progression to competitive skills/technique refinement. Skiers will attend competitions in and out of province appropriate to their skill level (club level or provincial level). They will have opportunity for possible placement on the Saskatchewan Provincial/Next Gen Team where they will potentially complete at multi-province/national events like Junior Nationals, the Canada Winter Games, or the Canadian Series. Year round training is incorporated along with trampoline, dryland training, and water ramp training for those athletes competing at higher levels. Skiers are also required to participate in mountain training opportunities along with mini camps at local ski areas. Those registering for the Competitive/Development Program are generally a bit older in age (approximately 8 years old or older) and are committed to the sport of competitive skiing.

Lessons: Saturdays & Sundays 10:00 - 3:00 (unsupervised lunch break from approx 12 - 1 pm)
Cost: $550.00 (December 2022 - March 2023 - 16 lessons)
