Please write a brief bio and explain why you wish to be a part of the 2026 Heritage Youth Chorus Extended Choir. What prior singing experience do you have? Do you play any musical instruments? What unique talents/skills/attributes would you be able to contribute to the group? Why do you want to share your testimony of the gospel through music?

Applicants should prepare a short audition video and upload it to an external site (like Youtube or Google Drive). Copy and paste the sharable link here. On the video, the applicant should 1. Introduce themselves. Name, age, school, hobbies, and other interesting facts. 2. Perform a favorite hymn or primary song. Either accompanied or unaccompanied is acceptable. 3. Tell why they chose that particular song. 4. Sing an ascending scale, beginning with their lowest note up to their highest note.

Please submit one letter of recommendation. This letter can be from an ecclesiastical leader, a teacher, or another adult who has worked closely with the applicant for an extended period of time. The letter should be confidentially emailed to choirs@ahsmail.com and should not be read by the applicant.

I certify that I have carefully read all of the information at https://american-heritage.org/choir-tours/ and that I am eligible to participate in the Extended Choir. If selected, I am able and willing to learn all of the tour music independently (with the aid of sheet music and practice tracks that will be provided.) I am also able and willing to pay all necessary expenses to travel to American Fork, Utah and rehearse with the choir prior to our tour departure on June 21.
