OUSTANDING ALUMNA MENTOR AWARD
PURPOSE:  To recognize an outstanding Theta Phi Alpha sister who has demonstrated exceptional ability in guiding the personal and fraternal growth of a sister, emerging chapter, chapter and/or alumnae association through her works.  This sister exemplifies a true Theta Phi Alpha sister who lives her ritual every day.

BACKGROUND:  Realizing the importance of role models today, the New Orleans Area Alumnae Association established this award  in honor of Leslie Ervin Trahant, Alpha Beta Chapter, to be presented for the first time in 2012. The award will recognize an outstanding Theta Phi Alpha alumna sister.
