Division Placement
*Check (√) the division with the description that best matches your ability. This is not necessarily the division you will be placed in. General skill descriptions for each division are below. PLEASE NOTE: Division placement based upon TAC officer review is final. You may move down divisions freely; to move up, contact the officer in charge of your division for more information on how to go about doing so.

1. Division 1 (USTA ranking 4.5+): Advanced level. Player has played tennis consistently for more than four years. Skill level equivalent to that of a high school varsity singles player. Tournament experience is recommended but not essential.

2. Division 2 (USTA ranking 4.0-4.5): Player has played consistently for 3-4 years. Skill level equivalent to that of a high school varsity doubles or JV player. Possibly with some tournament experience.

3. Division 3 (USTA ranking 3.5-4.0): Intermediate level. Player knows and is able to use basic strokes. The game may be full of weaknesses, but player is able to rally and keep the ball in play. May have minimal high school team experience or equivalent.

4. Division 4 (USTA ranking 2.0-3.5): Beginner. Player has little to no experience with basic strokes. Learning the aspects of games and strokes and looking to improve.

IMPORTANT: Applicants must pay membership fees ($10) after open practice (February 6) to continue to participate in weekly practices. It can be submitted via venmo or cash to an officer at a closed practice.
