UTSA Athletic Training Observation Program
Hello, Thank you for your interest in the athletic training program at UTSA.  The process involves an observation period first and you must complete an orientation and background check. Please fill out this form and when the orientation meeting is scheduled, you will be contacted by UTSA email. 
Reminder- The observation period is a way to see if you want to be in the program and if you are a good fit.  The acceptance into the apprenticeship program and Kinesiology AT concentration requires
1. 30 hours of college/university credit
2. A minimum of a 2.75 GPA (average GPA for students accepted is above a 3.0)
3. Review the Core Curriculum requirements for a degree in Kinesiology and discuss the path with your advisor https://catalog.utsa.edu/undergraduate/healthcommunitypolicy/kinesiology/#degreestext 
4. 50 hours of observation in the UTSA athletic facilities
5. You must be enrolled at UTSA and a student in good standing at the university
