Register for the May 10 Molt Search Training at WSU Extension Port Hadlock with PTMSC
Learn how to keep an eye out for invasive European green crabs by participating in a new citizen science project called Molt Search, run by Washington Sea Grant's Crab Team & Washington State University Extension. 

At this Molt Search training event you'll learn:
  • About this new invasive species and what's being done about it. 
  • How to identify native and European green crabs. 
  • How to do a Molt Search and submit your findings through MyCoast
What: Free, hands-on training and practice of Molt Search protocols, crab ID, and green crab basics
When:  9:30 am - 12:00 pm, Saturday May 10
Where: WSU Extension Classroom, 97 Oak Bay Rd., Port Hadlock, WA 

Please dress for the weather, wear good walking shoes, and bring a bag or other container to collect molts in.
