Storyline Unit Pilot
These instructional materials were developed under the guidance of the NextGen Storylines team and generous funding from the Cattlemen’s Beef Board. The units are driven by anchoring phenomena related to food production and agriculture. The primary goal for this pilot is to present these materials to a diverse group of students in order to acquire a wide range of perspectives to best inform revisions and meet the needs of all students.

The primary goal for this pilot is to obtain feedback from a diverse group of students in order to best inform revisions and meet the needs of all students. The target audience is students in an urban setting with few/no direct experiences in agriculture to ensure the phenomena in the materials are relevant to all students. Use the instructional materials as written and designed in its entirety for at least one class of students.
Implement the unit in my classroom for completion on or before November 26th, 2019.
Complete all evaluations and feedback forms by December 1st, 2019.
Acquire permission to gather and share student artifacts developed during the pilot. (Names of students will be removed.)
Attend a five-day Test Pilot Institute the week of October 14th-18th. (Location TBD, All travel expenses will be covered)
Obtain permission from my administration to fulfill these requirements.
