Thank you for your interest in speaking for the Developh Community!
Since 2016, we've been a volunteer-driven community. We started out as a group of high school students teaching one another code and design out of necessity, and have evolved into a network of intersectional technologists (which we define loosely) within technology and cultural institutions across the Philippines and world sharing practice, learnings, and speculation about how we can reclaim technology to shape our imaginary, environments, and futures. Since then, we've hosted over 150 talks and workshops of different scales - from 200+ person conferences, 800+ attendee lectures, to intimate rooms of 4.
This call is for online events held on Zoom. We accept speakers from all around the world.
We often work with student, early career, emerging, and underrepresented Filipinos. Many of our speakers join us for their first engagement, and many students return at different points of their career development. There is no experience required and we provide an honorarium for speakers, along with a profit-sharing option for paid events.
