Roller Derby Basics Workshop on 6/2
Join us for Naptown Roller Derby's Roller Derby Basics Workshop! This is a one day workshop to learn the fundamentals of one of the fastest-growing sports in the world!

WHO:  Naptown welcomes skaters 18 years or older who identify as women, trans women, intersex women, and/or gender expansive if women’s flat track roller derby is the version and composition of roller derby with which they most closely identify.

The informational post-clinic Q&A Session will describe the Naptown League and the next steps it will take to join Naptown Roller Derby as well as answer all of your burning questions.

COST:  Prepay a $20 fee for the workshop.  Submit payments via PayPal (Naptown Roller Derby DUES), Venmo (Naptown Roller Derby) or bring cash at the door.


WHERE: Naptown's private practice facility in Indianapolis (you will be given the address upon registration)


WHEN: Sunday, June 2 / TIME: 1:30PM-4:30PM

GEAR: Your workshop fee includes gear rental, but please bring yours if you own your own. The gear REQUIRED for roller derby includes:

*Helmet (Skater favorite options: S1 Helmets, Triple 8, hockey helmets)
*Mouth guard (Skater favorite options: Sisu, dentist made)
*Elbow pads (Skater favorite options: 187 Killer Pads and Triple 8)
*Wrist guards
*Knee pads
*Quad Skates- (Skater favorites: Riedells, Bonts, Antiks, Chaya, Mota)


**Please try on your gear and mold your mouth guard BEFORE the session. Participants without any piece of the required gear will NOT be permitted to skate unless you notify us of your need before hand.**
