Termination
The Watermelon Festival Committee reserves the right to terminate the operation of a vendor/activity at any time during the festival. The Committee reserves the right to terminate the agreement should the vendor commit any act detrimental to the purpose of the Hope Watermelon Festival, fails to cooperate with the committee or breaking any laws pertaining to the use of the facilities.
FEES
The vendor will pay the Hope-Hempstead Chamber of Commerce (SELECT CATEGORY BELOW). Payment is due once you have been notified your application was ACCEPTED. Deadline to participate as a Vendor in the festival and pay fee is July 1, 2017. Only if payment has been received will the Vendor spot be reserved.
Electricity
Each 120-volt electric plug will cost $28, each 220-volt plug will cost $56. Please enter how many (QUANTITY) plugs you will need and select the volt.

Vendor shall leave the area around the booth or activity in clean condition prior to leaving.
Set-up and departure
Vendor shall set up in accordance to instructions from the Festival Committee. Vendor shall have only one service vehicle available on the premises. All other vehicles must be left in designated areas. Vendor also must answer to any parking instructions from the Hope Police Department, Hempstead County Sheriff's Department, Arkansas State Police, Chamber officials and parking attendants, Hope Rotary Club, Troop 5 Boy Scouts, City of Hope and Park officials.

Vendor agrees to obtain liability insurance against all claims for losses, injury, or property damage during festival. Proof of insurance is required prior to set-up. Vendor releases Chamber and Watermelon Festival from any liability for any damages sustained by vendor, vendor's family, volunteers, employees, contractors, or customers. Vendor agrees to indemnify the Chamber of any loss or liability, including the cost of defending any claim or lawsuit the Chamber may suffer as a result of any injuries or damages suffered by vendor or vendor's employees, contractors, volunteers, or customers. VENDOR MUST FOLLOW RULES FROM ARKANSAS HEALTH DEPARTMENT. VENDOR ALSO IS LIABLE FOR ALL SALES TAXES.

This application does not include RV space rental. RV's MAY NOT BE PARKED IN VENDOR AREA WITHOUT EXPRESSED WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE FESTIVAL COMMITTEE.
