We invite applications from early-career researchers from across sub-Saharan Africa whose research falls within the broad topic of Plant Health. This includes MSc students, PhD students and researchers recently graduated from their studies (within 5 years). Potential attendees should have the aspiration to build their careers through international networks and a passion to address plant health challenges in Africa.
The course will be hosted at Pwani University, Kilifi County, Kenya. Pwani University will provide a buzzing atmosphere of international and interdisciplinary scientific activities. Pwani’s campus is conveniently located within the East African biodiversity hotspot and provides various possibilities for excursions in the surroundings.
Registration, Travel and Accommodation costs for the course will be covered for successful applicants.You will be asked to prepare a poster, a short presentation and a job application before the event.
