CASE Debates Volunteer Application
The Harris County Department of Education (HCDE), Center for Afterschool Summer and Enrichment for Kids or CASE for Kids, launched the CASE Debates project in 2017, provides high school students across Harris County an opportunity to participate in debate activities by eliminating barriers to access that they otherwise would not be able to afford. CASE Debates strives to equip participating youth with the four C’s of 21st century skills: critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity.
There are many roles and opportunities to volunteer for within the CASE Debates project. Some of these exciting roles include helping out a tournament serving as a support to the operations of a tournament, being a judge, mentoring a team, school or even serving as a guest speaker. To gain a better understanding of what opportunities are of most interest to you, please complete the applications below.
Due to the current climate of the COVID-19 Pandemic and prioritizing the safety of students and teachers/coaches, we will be hosting all activities online activities.
