The Nascent ISPOR Boston Chapter is Having Its Third Event – March 28!

- Topic: "Aligning Drug/Device Prices and Benefits: A Novel Framework for Examining Questions of Comparative Effectiveness, Cost-Effectiveness, and Affordability"

- Speaker: Dan Ollendorf, PhD, Chief Scientific Officer, Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER)

The speaker will describe ICER in some detail, the rationale behind and development of the framework, its application in recent assessments, and what’s coming next (including revisiting methods).

- Location: The Analysis Group (111 Huntington Ave, Boston)

- Please RSVP by Wednesday, March 23rd.

- Directions: Venue is easily accessible via the T (Green line to Prudential, or a short walk from Copley, Hynes or Back Bay Station). There will be a table set up near the security desk at the entrance to 111 Huntington Ave for all guests to check in. The building can be accessed either directly from Huntington Ave, or through the shopping center near the Barnes & Noble store - there’s a distinctive water wall that’s hard to miss). Each guest will be given a name badge and a security badge. Security will direct guests to a dedicated elevator, which will bring them to the 13th floor for the event.

- Parking: Enter the Prudential Garage off either Dalton Street by the Sheraton or Huntington Ave; follow signs for the elevators to 111 Huntington. Rates are $14 per car after 5PM (http://www.prudentialcenter.com/visit_park_rates.html)

- Light refreshments will be provided.
