Why are we having this event? Client usage of the food bank has been increasing over the past several years. The CFB staff team currently host one food drive a year (Trick or trEAT), so another drive will help stock our shelves and provide for these clients during the winter and summer months until that drive happens again in October. Food insecurity affects so many students from all backgrounds and circumstances, so the Campus Food Bank wants to be as prepared as possible to help anyone who walks through our doors. Your donations and a little friendly competition will help us make that happen!
Teams can start collecting food items as soon as they register here. The Campus Food Bank has large donation boxes available to keep in your office space and collect items before the donation drop off dates. The team with the most pounds of food donated will be rewarded with bragging rights and a pizza party. So get your competitive hats on!
Donations will be collected between March 20th and 22nd in order to stuff a bus in front of the Administration Building. Campus Saint Jean has graciously donated the use of one of their mini buses for this event, so our goal is to completely fill it with donations! Exact times for donation drop offs and further details will be available closer to the event.
