All students wishing to be considered as Nebraska FFA State Star candidates must complete and submit a biographical statement. All biographical statements must be complete the following by the date listed on the Nebraska Ag Ed calendar.

Star Bio Instructions
An example of a bio appears below.  Please follow the suggested format.

First sentence:  
Include name, chapter, and parents.

Second and third sentences:  
Include the advisor or advisors' nam(s).

Third sentence:  
Describe the SAE. scope, and skills/abilities learned.

Fourth sentence:  
Include future or current plans.

EXAMPLE:
Jill Aggerson, of the Mead FFA Chapter, is the daughter of Dick and Julie Aggerson.  Her FFA Advisor is Marshall Smith.  Jill’s SAE included 50 head of ewes and 100 market steers.  Jill developed skills in balancing feed rations, marketing her livestock and implementing a herd health plan.  She plans to attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and major in Animal Science.
