The IWHG has an ongoing interest in identifying factors which may promote longevity in Irish Wolfhounds. We would like to know about your ‘Golden Oldies’ – past and present - not just information about their health, but about their lifestyle as well. So, if you have (or have had) a Wolfhound live to over 7 years of age, we would be pleased if you could take some time to complete the attached questionnaire.
We would be pleased to see photos of your hound (as a puppy, adult and veteran) You can post these on the IWHG Facebook site
https://www.facebook.com/groups/IWhealthgroup/,
As most of you will know, the IWHG currently subsidises Heart Screening for super veterans (over 8 years of age) Part subsidy for screening hounds over 7 years is provided by The Irish Wolfhound Club. These hounds are helping in valuable research into Wolfhound health in general. Details of our UK heart screening sessions can be found on the IWHG website.
Please complete separate forms for each additional Veteran Wolfhound. By completing this form, you agree to the IWHG using the data you supply to provide reports on the health status of UK Veteran Irish Wolfhounds. Your personal details and those of your hound(s) will not be shared publicly and will only be used, in confidence, by the IWHG. However, if you would like your hound to be included on our Longevity Recognition Register, please indicate this at the end of the form.
Please complete a form for EACH hound over the age of 7 years owned or bred by you.
Please note that THIS SURVEY IS FOR UK Irish Wolfhounds ONLY
