People's Postcode Lottery - Applying for Funding

This will be a session run to look specifically at applying to the People's Postcode Lottery.

Applications for 2017 stage one (expressions of interest) will open on 15th August with a deadline of 28th August(there will be a second stage for organisations who are successful).

There are 3 funding streams:

People’s Postcode Trust:
Aims to help people – ensuring they have the skills, opportunities and rights to improve their lives. We will seek applications for projects that focus on the prevention of poverty, promotion of human rights, equal rights and conflict resolution for some of society’s most vulnerable groups.

Postcode Local Trust:

Good causes which enable local people to benefit wildlife and engage with the natural environment
Enhance biodiversity or renovate/create new green habitats
Sustainable energy projects benefiting local areas and local people
Enhancement of play areas vital to a local area
Volunteering initiatives of local importance

~ the different funding streams they are running
~ what they are looking for in the application
~ how to ensure the budget meets their criteria
~ common mistakes in applying to the fund

    Free Entry - In the event of a no-show on the day an admin charge of £15 will apply. This will be waived if 48 hours’ (working days) notice is provided. Charged Entry – In the event of a no-show on the day you will be charged the cost of the session. This will be waived if 48 hours’ (working days) notice is provided.
