Hand in Hand Artist Registration and Donation Guidelines

Thank you for donating to this very worthy cause!
Before you complete your registration form please read through the following Donation Guidelines.

We are happy to accept donations of original artworks in any medium including painting, photographs, sculpture, textiles, jewellery and ceramics. We request the following;

● Each artwork is clearly marked with the name of artist and the title of the piece
● Your work is professionally presented and ready for hanging/display.


You may deliver your donation on the following date to the location listed below:

* Friday 1 March 2019, between 10am – 2pm

*Kindly ensure that a copy of your Hand in Hand registration form is attached to your artwork on delivery.

● In 2019, Hand in Hand Art Exhibition will be conducted over a five day period (from 20th March to 24 March 2019).
● Selected artworks will be displayed at Project ArtSpace, Wollongong.
● Hand in Hand Art Exhibition event organisers reserve the right to decide on where your artwork will be displayed.
● We accept a maximum of 3 artworks per donor.
● SCARF often receives more artworks than we have space available for display. Event organisers and curators will endeavour to display all donated works during the course of the exhibition. Our practice is to replace sold works with new pieces throughout the exhibition.
● Although all attempts will be made to include all donated artworks in the Hand in Hand Art Exhibition, the event organisers reserve the right not to accept works deemed inappropriate.
● Hand in Hand Art Exhibition event organisers may use an image of your donated piece to promote the exhibition on the SCARF website and social media. Images of your piece may also appear in other promotions for this event.
● Each year, Hand in Hand Art Exhibition sells more than 90% of donated works. We ask that artists nominate an appropriate price/price range for the work on the registration form.
● As a charity art exhibition Hand in Hand organisers reserve the right to increase the price above the recommended price. We will not price below the resereve price nominated by the artist.
● 100% of proceeds from sale of artworks are donated to SCARF except where artist nominates that a portion of the sale is paid to them to assist in covering the artist's costs.
● Hand in Hand Art Exhibition event organisers will exercise care at all times but will accept no liability or responsibility for loss or damage of the pieces while held by the event organisers or in transit.
● All unsold artworks that remain uncollected after a period of seven (7) days will become the property of SCARF and will be sold or auctioned at a later date, with proceeds going to SCARF.
