2020 AAGT Gifted Education Leadership Award
The Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented annually presents a Gifted Education Leadership Award to an individual (district gifted coordinator, principal, superintendent, school board member, counselor, college/university faculty member or others in a leadership position) who brings about change that results in improved services within a school, district or change that has a state-wide impact.

Criteria:
1. Bringing about a change in policy, procedures, programs and services, or curriculum that results in significant improvement in gifted education at the local or state level.
2. Supporting teachers and students with creative innovations that increase the opportunities for a wide range of diverse learners either at the local or state level.
3. Contributions far exceed the regular expectations of a position, duty or office.

A complete nomination packet includes forms from three submitters. (Note: One may be completed by the nominee.) The complete nomination packet is due December 31st.

The 2020 Gifted Education Leadership recognition award will be presented at the AAGT Annual Conference on Thursday, February 6, 2020.
