DCC Return to School Survey 20-21
DCC is planning for our students' return in August. Although we hope that this return will be in person, we must prepare for every possible scenario. Given the uncertainties of COVID-19, we are asking for you help. Your responses to this survey will help us in our efforts in planning and ensure that we are in tune with the needs of our families and community.
Here are three possible scenarios following Pennsylvania Department of Education Guidelines:
1. Reopening with CDC recommendations (i.e. social distancing/face mask) for students and staff.
2. Hybrid schedule that includes in-person and remote learning. This model will be based on CDC guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff.
3. A remote learning model in which school remains close and all work is completed virtually.
Which grade(s) will you student(s) be starting in August of 2020. Please select all that apply.

If remote learning is necessary to begin school in August, how likely are you to pull your student(s) from DCC and enroll elsewhere if we run a remote learning classroom?
Not even an option
I will enroll elsewhere
DCC is committed to the safety of students and how they get to and from school. Which best describes your families transportation needs?
We will use the transportation provided by DCC.
We would prefer to use transportation provided by DCC, but in order to reduce the number of students on a bus would be willing to provide our own transportation.

If CDC guidelines required a hybrid/modified schedule, which of the following options would you prefer?
Every Other Week: Alternating one week of in person classes, then one week of remote classes.
Even/Odd Days: Half the students would come to school on Even days for in-person classes, then the other half of the students would come to school on ODD days for in-person classes.
Monday & Tuesday/Thursday & Friday: Students would be placed into two groups, with Wednesdays being devoted to a whole building shut down and remote learning.
