THANK YOU for your interest in being part of our first ever Melomane - A Festival of Music Making.
In case you were wondering, a Melomaniac is a person who loves music (perhaps a little too much!) so a Melomane is an event for those people. We hope you will be one of them.
We are tackling the EPIC Symphony Number 1 by Mahler, complete with its seven (yes 7!) horn parts and quadruple woodwinds. If you don't know it, Mahler 1 may surprise you, it is an exuberant and folk-inspired work of joy and delight.
Melomane is on
Saturday 15th March at St Matthews Church, Walsall, WS13DG starting at 10am with a concluding concert at 4pm for family and friends. Melomane is open to all musicians of all ages and we have staff, chaperones and young leaders to keep our younger Melomaniacs safe.
