Begin to Sew Workshop
Join us for two Saturday mornings and we will help you to get comfortable using a sewing machine! In these two classes, you will learn how to thread the machine, create basic sewing stitches, marking and cutting fabric, cutting out pattern pieces and you will gain the skills needed to create your very own project. Students may choose to make a pincushion or tote bag.

Date: Two Saturdays, February 1 & 8, 2020
Time: 9:30 am – 1:00 pm (two sessions 3.5 hrs each)
Instructor: Denise Jones Chu, Hello Beautiful
Skills: Student will have some basic sewing experience
Equipment/Supplies: Bring your own basic sewing kit (scissors, seam ripper, measuring tape, straight pins—we also have supplies in the workshop area)
Domestic sewing machines will be provided in the OSF Shop for the class. Students are welcome to bring their own sewing machine to the class, if they prefer.
Cost: $110. Class size: to 8-10 students.
