2025 PDGA Connecticut / Rhode Island State Event Sanctioning Request
Please use the below form to request a date for PDGA event sanctioning for those events taking place in Connecticut or Rhode Island. Please note, that your event is not approved simply by filling out this form. Once your responses are recorded, they are sent over to the State Coordinator for review. Event submissions are reviewed weekly (usually Sunday or Monday nights).  Once the review is complete, you will receive an email response with the final decision and instructions on how to complete the sanctioning with the PDGA. The following questions have nothing to do with whether or not the event will actually get sanctioned, but rather a tool to help you as a tournament director find the resources and guidance you may need in planning your event.
Have you already gotten approval from the host course or town responsible for the property?
You should make sure everything is cleared before sanctioning the event.

The 2025 rule changes may effect some of your event preparation and planning.

Are you aware that per the PDGA Tour Standards all pass-through fees must be published in pre-registration materials (types and amounts)?

Will this be a True Amateur (trophy only) event?
If yes, there are True Amateur Guidelines you should be following.  You should also be advertising your event as trophy only prior to registration opening.

Do you plan on using any non-standard rules at your event?
Use of non-standard rules (the most common being forcing a player to a drop zone) may require a waiver from the PDGA.
