Welcome to Hillel Fresh, a program that prides itself on giving students local produce to cook a meal for Shabbat with their friends. This free meal kit comes with a service packet, fun games for the dinner table, and information about where your food came from in Vermont. We work with local farms and even have our own Hillel Fresh Farm where students grow produce for the program.
To keep the program fresh, we need volunteers to help us pack and deliver Hillel Fresh boxes! We need help on February 2nd, February 23rd, March 22nd, April 5th, and April 19th.
Box Packing: Boxes will be packed from 10am - 1pm at UVM Hillel 439 College Street. If you are available to stop in and help during any point of the set up we are happy to log your hours according to your schedule! Please indicate when you plan to come to Hillel for this
Delivery Drivers: Boxes will be ready for delivery at 1:00pm and delivery drivers will be expected to deliver 6-8 boxes before 4:30pm. We recommend driving with a buddy to make the process of deliveries easier on the driver. Drivers will receive a delivery route and contacts for the groups receiving the boxes. Drivers will also receive a $10 gift card to a grocery store of their choosing:)
If you have any questions or need assistance, please reach out to Hillel Fresh Director, Sophie Warth at Hillelfresh@uvmhillel.org
