Worship Ministry Team Application
We are so excited that you are interested in joining the Worship Ministry Team here at WakyMC. We believe that God desires to see all of us take next steps in our discipleship and use our talents and gifts for His honor. We desire to help you grow both personally and as you allow God to use your gifts and abilities for His kingdom purposes and to point people to Him.

The purpose of WakyMC’s Worship Ministry is to create a space for people to encounter God, engage with His Story, and to meet with God in prayer. We desire to be a group of people who seek to glorify God both through our lives and in song both with passion and excellence. To sing a song involves the whole body and mind to sing, and when the body and mind are engaged, often the heart with follow.

In John 4:23-24, it says, “Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
