Club Sports Director Application
The Club Sport Director will be responsible for all planning, execution, and operations of any club sports seasons. This includes maintaining reoccurring club sports, as well as helping to facilitate the creation of new sports.

The term of the Court Sports Director is one (1) fiscal year with an optional one (1) additional term added by a unanimous vote of the Senior Leadership members for a total of two (2) years of service.

The position is open until full.

Please list all seasons of Stonewall Sports - Richmond you have participated in.
Note: To be eligible for a position on the Leadership Board you must have completed at least one full season with the League.
Please list any leadership roles, or related experience, you have held that you believe will allow you to successfully serve on the Stonewall Sports - Leadership Board.
Leadership roles may be work-related, on volunteer or non-profit boards, as part of sports teams/leagues, etc.
Please describe your experience with managing a sport league or similar entity. Please give examples when highlighting experience with communication, recruitment of individuals, organization skills, training other individuals, scheduling, etc.
What new ideas or initiatives would you bring to the ClubSports Director role and the overall Stonewall Sports - Richmond League?
What does "community" mean to you and how will you uphold and further promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility, within the League and community at-large?
If selected for this position, you will be expected to attend Board Meetings and attend most season events. Board Meetings are generally held 2-3 times per month in addition to any committee work. Do you agree to this time commitment and understand that consistent absences may result in your removal from the Leadership Board before your term is up?

Your statement will be shared with our Voting Membership for review prior to the interview. The Voting Membership consists of board members, committee members, and team captains. If selected to be put up for a vote by the Voting Membership, you will have a chance to edit your statement or submit a different statement prior to the vote. Please limit to 500 words.
