What is the vision of this internship?
For leaders seeking to discover—both personally and professionally—what it looks like to work in full time vocational ministry. We want to empower and equip you to grow as a leader of yourself, volunteers, and organizational systems. Serving with us will accelerate your growth and give you vital experience towards a future in serving the church.
What elements are included in this internship?
Intern Roles (on one of the following teams)
- Campus Intern- contact work, assimilation team, Sunday service, etc.
- Admin Intern - data, system management, etc.
- Ministry Intern- creative (design, video/photo, social media), kids/youth, worship, college, outreach, etc.
- Pastoral Intern - vision and strategy, sermon writing, supervision
Training: As an intern, you would receive leadership training on Grace Staff culture, self-discovery, personal growth, and job-specific responsibilities. In addition, you would be invited to participate in staff meetings, retreats and conferences.
What are the internship commitment expectations?
Personhood: As an intern you would be expected to live into the qualifications outlined in the Bible of spiritual leaders, living above reproach in personal holiness, and displaying a life of integrity and character. Additionally, there would be an expectation to embrace our staff values.
Weekly time: You should expect to spend between 10-20 hours weekly on internship responsibilities. This would include things like supervision, staff meetings, House Church leading or coaching, leadership content engagement, mission project planning, etc.
Annual review: The expectation is that this internship would last a semester long. Toward the end of the internship, there would be an evaluation process that would direct next steps. At the end of the internship you will have something great to put on your resume and a professional recommendation from your supervisor!
