Great Danes are the gentlest giants and the biggest babies at heart; our top priority is ensuring that ALL our puppies are set up to thrive in the most loving family environments.

Beau Danes has a thorough process to vet our guardian applicants. If you would like to be considered as a potential guardian home, view the qualifications below and complete the application. You are also more than welcome to call, text, or email us with your questions at any time!

Qualifications to be a Guardian:

1. Guardian must live withing a two-hour radius of Covington, Louisiana.
2. Guardian must own and live in a home with a fully fenced backyard.
3. Guardian must provide transportation of the dog to us for breeding and whelping.  
4. Guardian must train the dog with at least basic obedience commands.  
5. Guardian must ensure the puppy is socialized to adults, children, and other animals (excluding intact male dogs during heat cycle).
6. Guardian must notify us immediately at the beginning of each heat cycle. 
7. Guardian must provide appropriate veterinary care and communicate freely with us about the health and conditions of the dog.
8. Guardian must feed the dog a diet approved by the Breeder. 
9. Guardian must communicate, cooperate, and coordinate with us regarding testing, mating, whelping, and other breeding related activities.
10. Guardian must understand the responsibilities of caring for an intact breeding dog, and call to discuss any questions with us.

We require that our Great Dane puppies/dogs are provided with a high quality, giant breed puppy/dog food for the entirety of their lives.  Which type/brand of dog food do you plan to feed your Great Dane puppy/dog? *
Do you understand that you may never sell or find a new home for a Beau Dane? If for any reason you are unable to care for your Guardian Dog, you must contact us immediately, and we will make arrangements for your Guardian Dog to be transported back to us at to Beau Danes. *
Do you understand that Beau Danes owns full rights to the Guardian Dog for the duration of the Guardian Agreement Contract, and therefore will be in charge of all breeding and whelping of puppies produced by this Guardian Dog. *
