Expectations - Roosevelt Mustangs Football 

I have decided to play football at Roosevelt High School, and as a Mustang Football Athlete there is a level of expectation that comes with that decision. 

The following must be read, understood, and signed by both the student-athlete and the parent/guardian.

Athletes

1) I am expected to give my maximum effort and full attention to everything I do, and will be committed and dedicated to the Roosevelt Mustang Football program.


2) I am expected to attend all meetings, training sessions, and practices, whether I am participating or not participating (injury, illness, etc.) unless communicated otherwise. I understand that if I miss two unexcused practices, weights, or meetings that I can be dismissed from the team.


3) If I cannot attend practice, weights, meetings I am expected to contact Coach Crone AND my position coach (Call, Text, Hudl). If I miss 5 excused practice I can be dismissed from the team.


4) I am expected to maintain an elevated level of academic achievement and good behavior in the classroom and on campus (Be a leader in class and on campus. Sit Up, Pay Attention, & Actively Participate). I will abide by all school rules and policies. 


5) I am expected to have all the necessary equipment and materials needed on a daily basis. I understand that I will have my Navy shirt and Grey shorts for every team activity we have.


6) I understand that if I do anything that may be perceived as "conduct detrimental to the team" I may be dismissed from the football program.

Parents

1) Athletes must attend all practices, games and team events. I will make the program a priority.


2) Parents are never allowed on the field during practice/games. Please support your athlete in the stands.


3) Respect our coaches, players, refs, and other teams while in the stands. Foul language or behavior will not be tolerated and can result in a stay away from the program. 


4) Parents will respect the 48 hour rule after a game or practice and will send an email to set up a time to discuss concerns. We will never discuss playing time.


5) Parents will be encouraged to help and participate in booster/team activities to help the program when they can.
