RSVP to Parallel Play - A D/disability Theatre Artist Hangout

Want to work on an artistic project or hobby and meet like-minded D/disability artists, friends, and allies?

Join GVPTA and Glitch Theatre on Saturday, July 25 @ 1:00pm-5:00pm at The Post at 750 (110-750 Hamilton Street). This is a free event.

Bring a creative project or just show up. Parallel Play — a reference to the practice of sharing a physical space while engaging in independent, separate activities — is a low-pressure hang where you can work alongside others, connect if you want to, or simply share the space in your own way.

We’ll have:

  • Studio and table space to work on a project

  • A social corner with comfy sofas to chat or lounge

  • Board games, colouring books, and other creative activities

  • A low-sensory quiet room to chill or regulate as needed

Drop in anytime! 1pm-4pm is more open studio style. 4pm-5pm is dedicated social time with snacks and drinks.
