We have a truly amazing guest from Chicago, Jonny Nelson, who is well trained in the arts of american style improv comedy in well known places like iO and The Second City. He will introduce us to these ways of more humor based improvising in his exciting workshop this spring.

How the heck is anyone supposed to come up with a joke in the moment? That’s too stressful! This workshop will teach you ways to find the funny organically by bringing to the table your unique sense of humor as well as help you identify the comedic patterns and the game of the scene!

About Jonny
Jonny Nelson is an actor and comedian based in Chicago, who has been performing improv and sketch comedy for 20 years. He has taught improv for over a decade at many places including The Second City, iO, DePaul University, ComedySportz, and The Latin School of Chicago.

He has performed musical improv with Second City's house team, long form improv with multiple ensembles at the iO theater, short form improv at ComedySportz Chicago, and has self written and starred in sketch comedy shows including his solo show Social Science, and two man shows Youth Group, and Monomyth.

Jonny also teaches improv workshops for business (Linkedin, The Federal Passport Agency, etc), instructs educators in improv, as well as guest teaches for Theaters around the world. He absolutely loves improvising and sharing that passion with others!

You can cancel the workshop anytime and get a refund (minus a 10€ service fee).
