CALLING ALL FOLKS OF COLOR TO SHOW UP AND SHOW OUT FOR HUGO GARCIA'S CAMPAIGN FOR BURIEN CITY COUNCIL

If you identify as Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Pacific Islander, Native Hawaiian, Asian - as a Person of Color or with melanin - we want YOU to come support Hugo's campaign - bring your mom's, your kiddos, extended family, your neighbor and let's support Hugo getting elected to Burien City Council!

Program for both days as follows:
- Opening welcome and blessing
- Rally
- Canvassing Training and 101
- Hit the streets to canvas!

What is canvassing? In this case, we are asking folks to go knock on some doors and talk to people about Hugo's campaign and asking them to vote for him. Comfortable shoes and weather appropriate clothing highly recommended.

Hugo's4Burien uses a canvassing mobile app called MiniVAN Touch to easily train volunteers and knock on doors to connect with voters.
