Ethics in the Modern World- Starts Spring Quarter
This certificate series is designed to assist graduate students in developing a personal code of ethical reasoning and conduct. Brief readings will support interactive discussions of ethical dilemmas facing us in the modern world. As future leaders, we will discuss general and disciplinary codes of ethics with a critical view. We will focus discussions on the age of misinformation, big data and privacy, climate change, and social justice and equality. Other topics to be discussed will be developed by participants to ensure relevance to the group.
