Sliding Scale of $50-$100 per week Virtual + Buddy Box; $25 - $50 Buddy box only; plus $25 per week for additional camper in the same household.
Camper Waiver and Release of Liability
In consideration of participation in Mountain Friends Camp, I, as parent/guardian with legal responsibility for my minor child, understand that there are significant risks involved and agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mountain Friends Camp (“MFC”), Intermountain Yearly Meeting, and associated officers, directors, staff, volunteers, and landowners from all cost expense and liability arising out of my child's participation.
ACTIVITIES: Community Camp at Home (“Camp”) activities may include, but are not necessarily limited to:Online community and team-building activities, both live and pre-recorded by Mountain Friends Camp, via video-audio and text mediums.Viewing of MFC produced or provided online content, including campfire style songs, instructional materials, or “virtual field trips”At home activities, the camper will be invited to undertake activities on their own time such as, but not limited to, creative arts and crafts, digital photography or video, cooking, gardening and nature activities, DIY projects, snail mail communication. RISKS: I understand that there are inherent risks associated with online activities and at home activities using provided materials. These hazards may include, but are not limited to, activities related to: sharing data online, accessing video calls and viewing provided links, using provided materials and instructions with or without adult supervision, using tech devises such as laptop computer, tablet or smartphone. All of the potential RISKS cannot be listed on this FORM, but may include: the risk of data mining, phishing, viruses, data breach of information, cyber harassment, digital footprint, reputation loss, image replication, use or misuse of provided materials whether during camp virtual sessions or during Camper free time. DAMAGE to equipment (such as computer, tablet, smartphone, camera, etc.,) is the sole responsibility of the owner of said equipment. Mountain Friends Camp will not provide any equipment for the Camper to use during virtual camp sessions, nor will the Camp be responsible for any damage that may happen during Camp. Mountain Friends Camp will not provide full SUPERVISION for the Camper, but only online engagement and instruction. I agree to maintain full supervision of my child’s safety and well-being at all times during Camp. Participation is at the Camper and parent/guardian’s own risk. While measures are being taken to manage any risk, there is always still the risk that something unexpected or not described above might happen. *

I HEREBY WAIVE all claims and assume all liability for damage or loss to my person or property, which may be caused by any act or failure to act by the releasees named above arising directly or indirectly from my child's participation in this summer camp. PHOTOGRAPHY and MEDIA RELEASE: I understand that my child may be photographed during the event. I agree to allow their likeness, in photograph, video, and audio, to be used by any legitimate use by the releasees, including promotional material and webpages produced by the releasees and accessible via the Internet. I understand that Mountain Friends Camp will never attach names or other identifying information to campers’ images, and that I can request to approve of any images before they are shared. EXPULSION: I agree that any violation of the rules of the Camp by the Camper or any behavior that puts the Camper or others at physical or emotional risk will result in immediate dismissal from the Camp at the discretion of the Camp management. CONSENT: If my minor child (under 18 years of age) is participating in this event, the undersigned parent or guardian has consented to their participation and agrees to the terms of the waiver and release of liability as set forth above. I knowingly and freely assume all such risks on behalf of my child, both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releasees or other, and assume full responsibility for my child's participation. I have read this release of liability and assumption of risk agreement, fully understand its terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by signing it, and sign it freely and voluntarily on behalf of myself and my minor child, without any inducement. *
