4K 4Charity Fun Run at the 2016 NAB Show Volunteer Registration
The 4K 4Charity Fun Run strives to benefit its chosen charities by minimizing as many operating expenses as possible. Thanks to time donation from generous volunteers like you, we are able to put on a highly organized and successful event with minimal staffing expenses.

Below are descriptions and shift times for each volunteer opportunity on Tuesday, April 19, 2016. When you decide which position you'd like to volunteer for, please check the box next to the title and submit the form. You're welcome to select more than one if you're flexible about where you're assigned. Prior to the event, you'll receive an email with additional information and details for your position.

Check-in Table Host(ess)
Check in at Registration Table for Instructions: 6:30am
Volunteer Shift: 6:30 – 7:45am
Minimum Volunteers Needed: 4

Volunteers will be stationed at the check-in table to greet runners, verify registered runners as they arrive (list provided) and provide each participant with a race bib and safety pins.

If you'd like to volunteer to be an Check-in Table Host(ess), please check the box below.
Bag Check Host(ess)
Check in at Registration Table for Instructions: 6:30am
Volunteer Shift: 6:30 - 8:30am (or until bag check area is empty)
Minimum Volunteers Needed: 4

Volunteers will be stationed at the bag check area to tag, store and watch runners' items while they’re on the course, and ensure the correct items are returned to each runner once the race is completed.

Water Station Attendant
Check in at Registration Table for Instructions: 7:00am
Volunteer Shift: 7:00 - 8:30am (or until last runner has passed the water station)
Minimum Volunteers Needed: 4

Volunteers will be stationed at the midway point of the course to pass out cups of water to runners as they pass. Cheering runners on is highly encouraged!

If you'd like to volunteer to be a Water Station Attendant, please check the box below.
Finish Line Attendant
Check in at Registration Table for Instructions: 7:00am
Volunteer Shift: 7:00 - 8:30am (or until the last runner has crossed the finish line)
Minimum Volunteers Needed: 4

Volunteers will be stationed at the finish line to unpack, set up and hand out race medals to runners while cheering them on as they complete the course.
