Thank you for volunteering your time to serve on a PANEL for our high school seniors. Many students have not had a chance to tour the colleges they are interested in attending. You are providing an opportunity for them to learn more about your personal experience.
**We are also hoping to do a High School panel for 8th-10th grade students hearing from current seniors or freshmen in college to share highlights of high school and things learned that they would like to share with younger students.**
There will be a moderator in the breakout section to read out the questions the seniors ask.
It is important that you do not try to answer any questions that would be more appropriate for the colleges to address specifically.
Please keep it to more your personal experiences around dorm life, the college community, what you have learned in terms of how to balance school and extra-curriculars. Opportunities to join clubs, sports, Greek life, etc. You can share your personal challenges and highlights.
Please be brief so that other panelists also have an opportunity to answer. You don't have to answer every question.
APRIL 22nd... The workshop is 3:15PM-4:30PM.
**Please be on the call on April 22nd at 3PM so that we are all ready to go.
**Please be on a computer and not a phone if possible since you will have more options and a better view of participants in the breakout room with you. Please MUTE yourself when you are not speaking.
**Please review the virtual workshop etiquette... https://youthwell.org/teens/
If possible, we would really like to do a quick CHECK-IN CALL with all the panelists on Tues, APRIL 21st at 4:30PM. We will provide a link for the 30 min zoom call.
