Survey on experiences of religious teachings by people with intersex variations in Australia
This is a survey by Intersex Human Rights Australia to inform our advocacy on proposed religious discrimination in Australia. We have made an initial submission to the Attorney General's Department, in early October 2019. We anticipate two opportunities for further comment: a possible future Senate inquiry, and a current inquiry on issues in schools by the Australian Law Reform Commission.
If you have an experience you would like to share with us, we welcome your contributions. We ask for your email address as a safeguard to ensure submissions are made in good faith. Please see further details on the parent page at
Please describe your experience, as someone born with an intersex variation, of religious teachings, and/or religious institutions
