Ask Me Anything with GitLab Red Team
Join the GitLab Red Team and ask us anything (AMA) <record scratch> well, almost anything.  We’re a red team conducting covert ops to keep GitLab, our community and partners safe, so we can’t discuss EVERYthing….  Still, we work for one of the most transparent companies in the world, and with that comes some pretty transparent security practices (in fact, that’s a goal). So, what CAN we talk about?  Well, for starters, we think our approach to red teaming is pretty unique, both in how we work across GitLab teams and beyond, as well as the types of circumstances and considerations that exist when red teaming at a 100% remote company. If you want to learn more about our team you can read: https://about.gitlab.com/handbook/engineering/security/security-operations/red-team/

We love a good chat as much as the next red team, but we’ll have to respectfully decline to respond to any questions that might give away the secret sauce or put any of our operations (or stakeholders) at risk (i.e. discussing details of current or ongoing operations!!).

Just complete the form below (name, email address for invite purposes only) and we'll keep you up to date with an invite including the agenda and live stream zoom link!  We hope to see you there!

Here's the agenda (zoom details included!): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L5jHjf8zuiqhqTkEz1_jawn_WoiOrKBMSv8VKxOkxMg/edit#  That's where you'll enter your questions!
How do GitLab AMAs work?
We run our AMAs very simply here at GitLab.

We use a Google doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1L5jHjf8zuiqhqTkEz1_jawn_WoiOrKBMSv8VKxOkxMg/edit# that we ask attendees to begin populating with their questions as soon as they think of them (advance questions are great!).

Just be sure to record your name next to your question.  We may start responding to questions in the doc before the live AMA but when we’re live on the call, we’ll ask you to read your question aloud, and our team will respond and discuss live.
