The Experts by Experience Advisory Committee informs and provides feedback on Mental Health Colorado’s policy work. It ensures that Mental Health Colorado continues to support policies through the lens of people with lived experience and remains a representative consumer advocacy organization.

[Disclosure Notice] This Advisory Committee often has conversations that may be triggering for some including topics such as suicide, traumatic experiences in facilities, discrimination, and physical, sexual, and emotional violence.  Do you feel comfortable with participating in these conversations with the understanding that we, as a committee, will be intentional about creating a safe environment in which members can share and ask for support.  *
As a member of the Experts By Experience Advisory Committee, we will meet monthly for 1 hour with email correspondents in between meetings requesting feedback on policies in real-time. Do you believe you can fully commit and participate under these expectations?
