What's the MVRA?
The Michigan Voting Rights Act is the name for a package of four bills introduced in the Michigan Senate in June 2023. The bills passed the Michigan Senate in September, and there are only eight days left in the legislative session for the Michigan House to vote on it before the new State House is sworn in in January 2025.

Senate Bill 401 - THE Voting Rights Act, providing voting rights protections tailored to Michigan’s unique electoral system
Senate Bill 402 - Creation of an election data institute
Senate Bill 403 - Language access
Senate Bill 404 - Curbside voting and other election law accessibility amendments
