This is an IN-PERSON training: As of right now, we do not have a remote option for this training.
We are currently recruiting dedicated advocates and healthcare workers who are interested in attending a FREE, in-person, public speaking training on the afternoon of Saturday, September 27th, 2025 in NYC, with the goal of expanding and diversifying our Speaker Bureau.
Successful organizing demands the ability to communicate one's message. To reach into the hearts and minds of the people in our communities, help them better understand the world as they always implicitly knew it to be, yet were never able to verbalize, and move them to take action. If you are interested in expanding your skills in this age-old tradition of rhetoric, in the service of single-payer advocacy, then please sign up below to join us this fall!
Space is limited and priority will be given to those who are new-ish to our organization, as we work to develop our collective organizing skills and capacity, and provide a stepping stone for greater involvement. If you are someone with a longer history of involvement & experience in speaking, but are still interested in the training, please let us know, and we will try to accommodate you as space allows.
