2020 Season Open Call Application Form - Abbotsford Arts Council
Each year the Kariton Art Gallery hosts 10 – 12 exhibitions of artists and groups based in the Fraser Valley region. The Abbotsford Arts Council is currently accepting applications for the 2020 Season Gallery exhibitions. Artists are encouraged to submit concepts for a solo exhibition, group exhibition with colleagues, school or as an organization. Submission deadline is October 15, 2019. Please keep in mind we are looking for all sorts of mediums not just paintings!
Abbotsford Arts Council Gallery Requirements
• There will be TWO phases of jurying: once upon application submission and again at the time of item drop-off/hanging after acceptance. The Abbotsford Arts Council reserves the right to refuse to display any artwork, even after initial acceptance of the submission. All decisions of the jury are final.

• All exhibiting artists must be a member in good standing by February 1st, 2020 with the Abbotsford Arts Council. Individual membership is $30 per year, and group membership is $50 per year. Even if there is a group membership in place, each individual member who has a piece hanging in the gallery must also have an individual membership. Payment is not due until after acceptance, membership is not required to apply.

• Exhibiting artists are requested to volunteer their time in the form of a demo, workshop, or gallery attending
