IU5 ARP ESSER Stakeholder Survey
In March 2021, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) act was signed into law, dedicating funds for K-12 schools through Elementary and Secondary School Education Relief (ESSER) funds. A small portion of these funds were dedicated to Intermediate Units.  As a result, the Northwest Tri-County Intermediate Unit (IU5) is eligible to receive one-time federal funding through the ARP ESSER grant to be spent prior to September 30, 2024. The purpose of these funds is to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a goal to emerge stronger from the pandemic.

To help sustain the safe and effective operations of our schools and address the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on all learners, IU5 is consulting with stakeholders who represent the specific interests of students to inform the IU during the planning process. We invite all members of the community to provide anonymous input regarding the IU use of ARP ESSER funds by completing this survey.
