Registered Reports Experiment
We are evaluating the feasibility of conducting a randomized trial for Registered Reports in which individual research projects are randomly assigned to proceed as usual versus be prepared and submitted as a Stage 1 Registered Report. This would involve research teams agreeing to randomization of their active research.

Eligible research would be ideas that are well-formulated enough to be reasonably prepared as a Registered Report such as research with a few preliminary studies that now needs a capstone investigation, a theory-driven investigation, or a planned analysis of an existing dataset. Ideally, participating teams would enter two potential projects, and randomly selected one for each condition.

Please provide us feedback about whether and under what conditions you would be willing to participate in such an experiment.
