Description: While administrators always try to spread the "tough kids" out, there are always years when you will end up with more than your fair share. Often a tool or strategy works for a couple weeks but then loses its efficacy, so it's essential to have a toolbox brimming with options to try next. We will be discussing various behavior charts I've created or pulled from books like "The Tough Kid Toolbox" as well as strategies and accommodations that I have found to be reliable and effective with my "tough kids" throughout 24 years of teaching.
